Hardware PS4 thermal paste

Fans seemed to be ramping up more than usual on the PS4 the other day so for shits and giggles I did the thermal paste on it. Must have been imagining it as I can't notice a difference (but well done Sony for going IHS-less this time!)

Anyone done this and noticed a difference on their older PS4 yet out of curiosity?

No because an APU doesn't really need it like you said no IHS to deal with.

Wow, you really like reapplying thermal paste it seems. I've only done it a couple of times but personally generally dislike doing it as I feel I apply too much and thus don't see the real benefit as I'm aware youre supposed to place the tiniest amount possible on. Any tips?
