Hacking PS4 Pro, Linux and payloads.

Hello,

I try to boot Fedora Linux on m'y PS4 pro, it does not work.

So, I downloaded bzimage for ps4pro: not work.

I checked the payload, it seem hardcoded to boot on USB0: which is it?

Anyone try to boot Fedora ?

I have tested again:
The payload work but no boot, initramfs named wrongly initramfs*192.168.0.
I checked files and New test, black screen again, no hdd activity. :-(

Il will compile the sources.

I am so sorry i did not read post carefully. Linux more than likely booting though I might be wrong. As long as usb created properly it does boot but on a pro you wont have video output. This is being worked on in a thread in this section. I am sorry just noticed what version ps4 you have.

you should be until someone writes support for the hdmi encoder used it won't boot video once linux loads. Gotta wait for now. I never did that btw and I used linux on PS4 for several hours.

I asked professional friends to get the datasheet, unix/linux firmware/drivers/other and many informations about MN864729, I do not believe so much but it's possible...
