Hardware ps4 or pc

If you already have a PC even if it's an old piece of crap and is only good enough to do resume's and browsing the Internet, you get more of a choice in my opinion. Just want to play some games once n a while with out messing with PC? Buy a console to play games on and use your PC for work stuff.

If you have no PC for work things, then I would tell you to buy a PC even if it's one of those 200 dollar i5 refurbished units on Newegg. Throw in a 1050 Ti if you have to have some games. (This is a low end budget gaming build as you can get.)

You would need a low profile GPU for this but I think they run like 20 bucks more than the normal prices.

The reason I mention the 1050 Ti is it can play most games at 1080P no problems so they won't look ugly, but at the same time it's not priced crazy right now due to the whole crypto craze :(

Everyone here will tell you to buy (better correct that before I get bashed by PC elitists) build a PC, no second opinions allowed
It's a valid suggestion. No elitism involved. Unless someone will try and put you down for going with a console.

I had a PS4 and couldn't care for what it offered. Sold it and upgraded my PC. It's preference and if anything? Your input is rather elitist.

I don't see how, have you never been bashed for saying "buy a PC" instead of "build a pc"?

i own both

i own both pc and ps4, when i built my pc last year which immediately made ps4 OBSOLET: EVERY AAA GAMES get pc releases, they even cheaper and run smoother than consoles, now my ps4 is sitting there collecting dust and became A HIGN TECH bluray player/brick/book holder for my shelf.

Yeah because you need 120+ FPS

With the price of GPU's right now its better to buy a pre built system but if your budget is below 500 just get a ps4 pro and call it a day.

wrong! i got my 240HZ MONITOR! the jump from 60fpz to 240hz IS ABYSSAL!!! I tell ya.
yeah but if you enjoy playing on a tv alot of tvs are 60hz

budget gpus will not be used for mining so why would the prices of those go up.

most people aren't going to mine as its really expensive to do you need a ton of the best gpus to do it.
I know, but I mean PCs are expensive for gaming right now because of the crypto boom. You're almost better off buying a pre-built rather than pricing out components.

I have both and the only reason I prefer PS4 over PC in some instances is that I can play with more of my friends as many of them do not play on PC. Also, the exclusives of PS4, like the Last of Us and Uncharted, are some of my favorite games.
