PS4 Kernel Exploit Released for 4.05 OFW

After teasing the exploit recently on Discord, SpecterDev has officially released his kernel exploit for PS4 firmware version 4.05.

Official announcement

Code:
https://github.com/Cryptogenic/PS4-4.05-Kernel-Exploit

TLDNR (From GitHub):
In this project you will find a full implementation of the "namedobj" kernel exploit for the PlayStation 4 on 4.05. It will allow you to run arbitrary code as kernel, to allow jailbreaking and kernel-level modifications to the system. This release however, does not contain any code related to defeating anti-piracy mechanisms or running homebrew. This exploit does include a loader that listens for payloads on port 9020 and will execute them upon receival.

In case you want to get a PS4 <=4.05

So now can we play backups on PS4 now or need to wait for fully functional game playing exploit

Never though I'd actually be happy about the fact that my PS4 has been in storage for a few months, but that means that once I finally manage to ship it to my new place I'll have a low enough firmware for this! Congrats to Specter and everyone else responsible!

Still got my fingers crossed for a ban-safe way to play online and keep the exploit by the time Monster Hunter World comes out.

He say the anti-piracy systems are not hacked on his release ,you have to wait for someone to add that feature

Great news.. Gutted being on 4.50 but this can only mean good things for the PS4 Scene :)
Thank You Specter and Merry Christmas :) Bring on 2018!

after @SpecterDev released his exploit, i'll prepare stuff within a couple of days, someone need to backport it from 4.55 to 4.05, not hard to do. not sure if it will be a write-up or just snippets of code, let's see

Any word on PS4 Pro compatibility? This would be my time to hunt down a unit on 3.70, if it is supported.

I have a ps3 and I was banned from psn because of cfw, so don't expect anything safe soon
