I gotta say Sony and their decision making for the console has surprised me. They are just doing all right things this time around. Only downside I can really think about is the cost of "next gen" games and the fact you have to pay for for online gaming. But eh. I use PSN+ all the time so I'm pretty okay with it.

Game prices are already known to be between $0.99 and $60. It's not expensive compared to the current generation consoles and their game prices. Pay for online is kinda meh in my opinion (only bought a 360 a few months back because of that), but luckily PS+ gives the IGC for all 3 consoles (PS3, PS4 and PSVita) for the same price.

I think their "Look how free you can be with ps4" approach is working very well for them. marrying the system to the vita was also smart. All we need is proven friendliness towards indie devs and we got a king of the gen.
Kinda like this?

games being region free is all well and good but what about bluray playback?
I'd rather just pay the extra $150 aud and buy it locally if I'm not able to play any of my movies on it...

Games, the point is that you'll be able to import games from the US and Japan for your AUS system.
