oh and the ps3 has a more quality decent homebrew scene, free dlc and psn games without having any jtaged console which is extremely hard to find i don't think the xbox 360 can play emulators and other os can it? so think about that before you decide what you console you want to get.

A method has been found to do so on the Xbox 360, it's not widely know. (So I think.) It'll allows you to download/play Xbox Live Arcade games, Games On Demand, and DLC without having to buy them. As well, as the requirements do not require you to have a JTAG'd Xbox 360, but as Duskye said before Jtags are easier to do such on. It's basically, drag and drop.

Xbox: Two ways to hack.

Dvd hack: Flashing the drive to play backups on DVD DLs. Can go online but can be banned at anytime.


Jtag: Flashing the nand. Region free, play GOD off of USB, custom dash, homebrew, but no live.


PS3: One way to hack.


CFW: Flash CFW onto the PS3. Play backups and homebrew just fine off of either the External HDD or Internal HDD but some games only work on one sometimes, but no psn.


And each have pretty good games overall.

Tsk. You should know by now, that it's possible to do that on non jtag systems first hand.

It easier on jtags since you don't have to do all the stuff to make it work.

Isn't finding a Jtagable 360 near impossible these days?

Also, if you hack the PS3 don't expect to play any new games. Mind you, nothing out these days seems worth playing. Mine has an inch of dust on it. Never turn it on anymore.

It's not near impossible, they're not just that common. You can probably find one if you look at the buy sell section of a xbox hacking forum. Or other places.

Get a PS3 , by used games , enjoy.
If your gonna hack and no go online at all , then go PS3.
Find that lately my xbox 360 is solely used for windows media center , my ps3 collects dust until i get a new game to beat and i sold my wii after my wife lost interest in animal crossing a couple years ago , i get more game time on my xperia play.

So get an xperia play , get some emulators , and play till your eyes bleed and your hands wear off.
