Alright, I just got my PS3 Slim a few weeks ago (and its awesome). I'm interested in getting a headset with a microphone, but I don't want one of those one ear things... is there a stereo headset out there with a microphone and Bluetooth? I've looked everywhere and all I've found is a Motorola S805, which didn't look too good, and a Sony DR-BT50, which looks better but I'm not sure its compatible. I like the ones that go around the ears so its more comfortable when playing longer.

Also, i was wondering if those microphones from Singstar from the PS2 would work... cause then I might not even need a headset right now. Yeah, it'll be weird with a controller in one hand and a microphone in the other, but its better than nothin'.

Thanks for your advice

It doesn't? Does that mean, for example, I can't use it in a game like MW2?

Oh yeah, earlier I was looking at the Turtle Beach P21 headset... is that any good? I've seen video reviews on YouTube but I just want to see what you guys think.

If you live in the UK go to game and get the Gioteck headset or online pack which has an HDMI cable 1.8m i think the headset and gaming triggers for £20 or the headset for £15 if you live anywhere else just go on a gaming website for your country and search for this headset its amazing

i have the motorola s9 when it was out for $40 now your gonna pay about $80 for the hd ones and if you choose them don't buy it from ebay they are all fake on ebay

I thought all bluethooth headsets are compatible with the PS3. Man I can't wait to get my PS3=). I saw at Eb Games(Gamespot for you US folks) have a bluethooth headset that is around 29.99. Well it was 49.99 but it dropped cause no one was buying it. Its a Sony Brand and it looks really nice. It has like a black glossy finish.

I use the official Socom 3 PS2 USB headset (made by logitech), works great for PS3.
can pick the game/headset box up these days for under £10 im sure.

also to answer an earlier question you can choose whether you want the sound for voice chat to come from the tv or headset by going to microphone settings in the ps3 settings menu.
