Playstation 3
Playstation Portable
Dual Shock
Dual Shock 2
Gran Turismo
Gran Turismo 2
Gran Turismo 3
Gran Turismo 4

Thay can´t possibly be unoriginal

not trying to start something but it would be hypocritical not to mention:

Mario
Mario 2
Mario 3
Super Mario
New Super Mario
Pokemon Red
Pokemon Blue
Pokemon Emerald
Pokemon Gold
Pokemon Yellow
Gameboy
Gameboy Pocket
Gameboy Color
Gameboy Advance
Gameboy Advance SP
Gameboy Micro

Not to be the devils advocate but Sony released 5 Twisted Metal games in less than 5 years.

Anyway, I thought this discussion was about the PS3 dash? It doesn't look terrible, IMO.

I always liked the PSP interface. But I will admit that on a console it looks a bit plain. That's it only major fault.

I hated the XMB initially because they lowered the clockspeed so damn much that there were loadtimes when viewing images..

At least they fixed that though PSP homebrew still does it way better..

Therefore XMB sucks.. Sony should just copy XBMC and be done with it..

I really like the PSP menu system.

I think it woul be pretty cool on the PS3... either way a massive improvement on the PS2 menu system IMO

The PS3 menu looks like it's going to waste too much of the users' time on graphical effects. That bothers me, as users already have to sit through name branding before almost every game they play.

I've always loved the XMB, it's sorely missed when I go back to my PS2!! Hehe.

The XMB isn't used on JUST the PSP, you know. I do believe it's used on a bunch of TVs in Japan, too.

Now I'm not usually one to jump to Sony's defense these days, but how is the PS3 having a PSP style menu a bad thing? They're trying to create cross-Sony-platform brand style recognition. Quite frankly I'd find it a bit off-putting if they weren't the same. It's just natural to have a product and its sister product have the same style.
