Not sure if this is the right place please move if not.
PS3 Magic has anyone used this software. or Is it real or fake.
or is it just a scam i am unsure any advice i will be gratefull for.

It's most likely a bunch of freeware tools bundled up and sold for a profit. Just like all the sites like it for the Wii.

"works on ALL firmwares" and "just burn a disc"?
If it was so easy to launch Linux and homebrew by burning a blank disc then why nobody is hacking the console to launch homebrew this way?
Hackers are working hard to find a way to run homebrew and Linux, since Sony removed OtherOS.
There's no way to launch anything unsigned past 3.55 unless you have a developer unit (or a hacked PS3 converted to developer unit).


Do not follow or download and try random files from random website. (generally speaking, not only PS3).
At best, it will not do anything.
At worst, it can break your console.

If you want Linux on PS3, it cost you nothing if you have to correct firmware to launch homebrew. (search AsbestOS, or linux on PS3)
Never pay scam website to obtain fake services.

Hi All
Thank you all for putting my mind to rest thought it was to good to be true.
I am a ps3 newbie just got 2 days ago. its on 4.25 firmware so no chance of linux on it is there.
