I Know not too many people give a crap about ps2 any more, but I read that it is possible to load isos from an external hard drive similar to how we use usbloader with the wii. I have mine formatted as fat so I can keep everything on one partition. I still have plenty of room on the drive so I was wondering if I can use the same drive for ps2 games as well without messing up my wii stuff. We're minimum wage kids here so I don't want to buy another drive if I don't have to. We have one of the silver 77001 nstc models. I'm sure if it's possible I can figure out how to do it, I just need to know if it's possible.

In addition to having the HDD formatted in FAT, you will also have to use either the FreeMCBoot exploit installed to your memory card or a modchip. I currently use the FreeMCBoot + ESR exploit to play backed up games on DVD, but you can also use it to boot HDLoader as Boot1. Read the attatched link for the tutorial.

Well there are two loading methods on ps2.
Harddrive and usb
Using harddrive it will be really difficult to do both. Because it requires the harddrive to be in the ps2 and the harddrive to be formatted to a nonstandard type.Must also be an IDE harddrive and requires the network adapter. Going that path 2 partitions on the harddrive might work.

Usb loading isn't that great on ps2 and has compatability and framerate problems. Usb loading uses fat32 so it would probably work with the wii as long as the loader can use fat32.
