Hi, I found my ps vita and I didn't use it for like 3-4 years. Now i try to turn it on and have a blackscreen. The PS logo in the left is blue when i turn it on but the screen still black. I tried to launch in safe mode but the PS logo in the screen doesn't show up. Is it dead or just the screen?

Since no one else has replied. I had similar issues while installing custom firmware. Every so often, my screen would freeze, and all there would be is black. I had some good luck taking my vita apart, then disconnecting, and reconnecting the power supply.

Did you try charging it for an hour before turning it on again? Happened when my vita was away for too long and the battery died. Like dead. I charged it for about an hour and it came on. It wouldn’t power on with the charger connected, at first, but only after waiting about an hour.
