I know there's LME and Pro & they're mostly similar, but I saw something about Pro having Prometheus & NoDRM while LME has legacy homebrew & faster mem stick access. I'm pretty sure I saw NoDRM in the recovery menu for LME though?

I've also heard cIPL flashing is better than Infinity, and then there's the 6.2 permapatch method? Not sure how the others are better than Infinity when Infinity can run a specific homebrew on boot if you need to do something like unbrick...
(I know mine can't do cIPL, but I'd still like to know what makes it better)

I'm also curious, is it possible to dual boot Pro or LME?

If it matters, here's what PSPident says (the PSP is a 3001):

tl;dr what has more features: Pro or LME? how would you rank cIPL/6.2/Infinity?

You seem to have some outdated info, Prometheus was a very early thing PRO team did to add higher firmware features to lower firmwares, it isn't used anymore since CFW runs on any firmware these days.

In their final versions ME and PRO are just about the same, the only thing i can think of is that LEDA works on ME so you can use it to run some old 1.5 era homebrew tho IDK why you would want to, as for cIPL vs Infinity well cIPL is the CFW loading being added to the actual loader the PSP uses so its as stable as you can get while Infinity is a merging of 6.35 OFW + 6.61 to get a mixed firmware that has the features of 6.61 but also has an exploit that 6.35 has.

Since you can't use cIPL on your unit anyway I would suggest infinity then whatever CFW you want since again they are damn near identical.

I already have Infinity + LME, but I thought I read somewhere about Prometheus being an online thing for adhoc games? I'm also not sure how the 6.2 permapatch method works & what benefits it would have over Infinity though.

Ah the online thing, its a plugin that works on both PRO and ME, I don't know too much about it since i only used it briefly years ago.
Now for 6.20 you wouldn't have anything new, if anything it might cause issues since some 3k's have a sleep bug if you downgrade to 6.20.
