Viz Media is bring the first Professor Layton movie it's way towards North America, Anime Your Way reports, the movie will also see a release in parts of Europe as well. It has also been said that since the movie was well revived enough that Level 5 has already commissioned a sequel.

According to wikipeida, it's only been released in Japan and the UK, not Europe. You're probably thinking of the UK release, which was out in the UK for almost a year.

Well it's not just wiki, other news sites are reporting that it's gonna be release in Europe as well. I haven't seen anything on it already being released in Europe.


I'm not saying they're right, I'm just telling you what I'm seeing is all.

I already watched it some months ago and I thought the movie was fantastic, simply because it was really true to the games and the overall source material.

I always think just because a game becomes a movie or a movie becomes a game it doesn`t need to loose its identity just because it wants to appeal to the non-gamer audience. It has to do both and I think that`s why PoPersion and this Layton movie succeeded as films and others didn`t!
