Let me just begin by saying. I've been sat here for hours, following every single tutorial I can find. I am absolutely at my whits end and would appreciate some help by somebody that knows what they're doing.
I have a softmodded PS2 Slim on FMCB and a network port built in. I've tried today to set up XLink Kai so I can play compatible online games, no luck. I've tried using SOCOM II and just cannot get this s**t to work! First of all I tried wiring both the PS2 AND my PC into the router, no avail. Then I tried the PS2 into the PC then the PC connected over WiFi. Nothing. Even looked into network bridging and I just can't find a solution. Kai hasn't even picked up my PS2, and I've not had my reachable status turn to yes, as of yet. I've ported to 30000, 0 and every other thing ever suggested. I've tweaked settings in every way imaginable. Started fresh a couple of times, used default settings - the list is literally endless.
I can't find an obvious problem as to why it's not working, there is a lack of videos on YouTube (none of which seem to be 100% clear step-by-step) and all the threads and blog posts seem to give me the same outcome. Is there anybody here that can help? I'm about to give up, I just can't find a solution to this. I would be ever so grateful. Thanks.
