Hello gbatemp!

I have a strange problem. When i install Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 as nsp and try to run it, it pop up with "An update is required..." and this is the base game not Any dlc's or updates.

I had the same problem on 6.0 firmware but now its the same on 7.0.

Its strange since its only Dragon Ball, All other games install fine.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

I use SXOS if that matters.

Is this the first time you're installing this game? Or did you install an update NSP in the past but remove it?

Yeah i had this game a long time ago and deleted it. Why?

Then you need to install that update or a newer update. The game now requires that game update or higher. Alternatively, you can remove the update requirement, but the former is a better option.

If you have a save file from that time, then a game update might be required regardless.

Okay thank you i'll try that!

I may be wrong, but I believe that when you install a new firmware update, it has an internal list of current updates for games. So even installing an NSP of a game for the first time ever, it will still know that an update exists. Easiest thing to do is install the update.
