I am having problems running movies smoothly, they are very jerky unless I drop the bit rate very low, when I use to have an I player card it worked perfectly, what am I doing wrong

Maybe some1 can possibly confirm this

- but isn't the DSTwo's Moonshell 2.1 a 'bog standard' version & has NOT been redeveloped to use the extra CPU/Memory of the DStwo, while the Iplayer's movie player WAS developed for the extra CPU/Memory ??

(I've checked the folder/file sizes & they are identical except for the 'resetmse' folder)

If so - then that could the reason why Movie playback is better on the iPlayer

As far as I can tell, that's the case. Another indication is the fact that the Iplayer movie player SUPPORTS AVIS and other things.

They're not the same thing. I assume the DSTwo movie stuff when it comes out will be more like the iPlayer software.

the dstwo team said, that this isn't the final player and isn't dstwo enhanced
