I am following Pailect's guide at the moment, and at the times I get sysupdater to run I am presented with this error and it will not continue past this error while downgrading to 9.2.
Code:
Getting CIA file information...

titleException:
main.cpp:148: Result: 0xD900182F
Failed to get CIA file info!

Anyone have any ideas on what I should do?

Opening ftbrony before loading sys updater helps

Loading oot to install menu has then repeat above

10.4+ oot boot directly to sysupdater

So I may have dogged a bullet. System finally started to downgrade... then I got the nintendo error screen to power down the console. Now the home menu will not load but the system boots far enough to give me the power menu when I hit the power button. I can alsi access the recovery menu ao I am going to update then reattempt the process.

upgrade to 10.7 then downgrade again? using cubic ninja or Zelda hax..that's your only option now I guess..

Alright so I am running into another problem... I am using powersaves with OOT and I cannot find the proper ropbin for the 10.7 system menu within the powersaves directory for oothax. Does anyone know what one works via the powersaves for this system menu?

I had the same problem trying to downgrade from 9.9 and I gave up after 15 tries so I updated to 10.7 and used svchax sysupdater build and it downgraded on the first try with no errors

Yeah I experienced something similar, out of 2 units I had that softbricked they both were on 9.9, they both got an error during sysupdate like 30% the way through, updated to whatever 10.x version was current at that time, then using the same updates folder/card, downgrades without issue the first time.

Is there a consensus yet whether or not svchax sysupdater is any better than previous versions of sysupdater? From what I've read it seems to have more success booting then the rest, maybe I'm wrong? I'm getting a new 3DS today and trying to decide which route to take.

*edit: How many versions of sysupdater are there?

Given what I just went through yesterday, if you have a gane enrtypoint (CN or OOT/powersaves) update to 10.7 and use the version linked above. Worked like a charm first try on my new Hyrule edition.

the svchax sysupdater is considered to be better than the previous, memchunkhax2 version of sysupdater.

AFAIK, the main versions are the memchunkhax2 one for homebrew launcher 9.3 -> 10.3, the svc one for 10.4 -> 10.7, and the CIA one for CFW.

Get the latest update for safe sysupdater. It uses a combo of svc hax and memchunks 2.1.
