Hello
So, I'm trying to play Skyward Swords on Dolphin 5.0 with my laptop
It has integrated bluetooth receptor but doesnt seem to get my wiimotes
I got some help here but it didnt work well
I've installed few thing other members recommended me but didnt work
Before, my wiimotes were conectable to my laptop through Dolphin, but SS didn't recognised Motion+
Now, after what they told me to install, I just can't connect my wiimotes to my laptop at all
Any further help would be required

thanks

HIDWiimote should work for basic connectivity (I've used it myself with success), but I'm not sure that even supports motion controls, much less Motion+. And Wii Remote Plus (and their clones) are a different beast altogether, since they work differently from a Wiimote with an attached MotionPlus.
And even if it does, I don't know if you'd be able to map the motion controls to work properly in Dolphin (but you probably would, it seems pretty flexible when it comes to controller mapping)
Anyway for HIDWiimote to work you need to either boot with disable driver signature enforcement enabled (which means you have to reboot into advanced startup and pick that option every time you want to use the Wiimote) or enable test mode permanently by editing the boot options. You'd know if Test Mode was enabled because it would say so in the bottom right corner on your desktop.

well, I opened HIDwiimote. I clicked on tool > installer, enabled test mode, clicked close, and it came back to previous window
No "test mode enabled" on the corner of my screen
plus, if i return in tool > installer, it says it's disabled again...
As to wiimote, the HID wiimote doesnt detect any :S

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

just noticed something in bluetooth device
The wiimote driver keeps switching between "paired" and "Driver error"

That's because the driver is installed but it can't run because test mode is disabled. Did you run HIDWiimote as admin when you tried to enable test mode through it?
I enabled test mode manually (following instructions I found on Google) and never tried the automated way.
Edit: By the way, the text on the desktop looks like this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/z2l3vct0nhlhaaa/Screenshot 2018-04-09 14.46.22.png?dl=0
I actually have test mode enabled for a different reason (unlocked Realtek drivers that allow me to use Dolby Home Theater on my laptop), I don't think I even have HIDWiimote on this laptop. But on my Surface Pro 3 I had HIDWiimote installed with test mode enabled manually at some point. I think I actually testsigned the driver manually, I don't think it came testsigned at that time.

I didn't use a driver I guess, actually you SHALL NOT use a driver or pair the Bluetooth driver according to Dolphins docs.

Couldn't Connect
Wii Remotes use the Bluetooth interface, make sure your PC supports Bluetooth. Do not pair the Wii Remote to your computer through its native Bluetooth settings. The operating system may interfere with Dolphin's ability to connect with the Wii Remote. In addition, Wii Remote connectivity will only work if one of the Wiimote slots is set to Real Wiimote or Hybrid Wiimote and it's not claimed by another Wii Remote.

If the remote does not seem to want to connect, make sure that any real Wiis in proximity are switched off for the duration of the pairing process.

RVL-CNT-01-TR Wii Remote Pluses may need extra configuration for older versions of Windows, see the Wii Remote Plus (RVL-CNT-01-TR) Connection Guide.

Try enabling it manually.
http://www.queryadmin.com/147/enable-disable-windows-7-test-mode/
I think the same instructions work for newer Windows versions. But you may have to disable Secure Boot if you're on UEFI, not sure.
Typed the two command in cmd.exe with admins right
the first lane said
The operation completed successfully
however,, the second lane failed and said :
An error has occurred setting the element data.
The value is protected by Secure Boot policy and cannot be modified or deleted

so...?

That explains why HIDWiimote wasn't able to enable test mode.
There should be an option to disable Secure Boot in the BIOS setup somewhere.

alright, I disabled boot security
and now... erf... it's weird
I enabled test mode in HID
nothing happened when I closed the windows
But now, when I click back on Installer, the windows shows me Test mode is disabled, but right when the window behind close up, the Test mode shows as enabled

Isn't that exactly the same problem as before?
Anyway, try the manual method again.

I always paired through the Windows bluetooth settings, but that was before Dolphin had BT passthrough. Might be a good idea for @Noctosphere to try BT passthrough if he hasn't yet.

managed to link my wiimotes to windows with the No-PIN method
now, I just don't know which driver to choose in Zadig
the instruction says to choose the device to passthrough, but I dont see my wiiremote in the list
It tells you exactly what to choose.
And you don't have to link your Wiimotes in Windows when you're using that method.
