Hacking Problem with an AC:CF Ocarina code.

I'm using the item modifier code, where you have to press A+B+C+Z+1 to activate it, but when I press those buttons in game, nothing happens. I have gotten other codes to work, so I know how to set it up properly.

EDIT: Found my mistake. I didn't know that the code was only for player 1. I had been using the code on player 2, which gave player 1 the items without me knowing.
