Hacking problem installing brawl

i have the original brawl dvd in my wii and im trying to rip it to the hard drive but it gets to 87.15% and then just doesnt go any further

i have tried it twice now and its happened both times (altho i cant be sure it was at the same %)

if you already got a backup, use ur pc to dump the iso.
Also the WBFS PC tools will move that iso to your HDD.

i dont have a backup, just the original game that i bought

is there a way to rip the game to my pc from a original disc?

nope, i only got the hard drive today and the only other game i have on it is tatsunoko vs capcom, i installed that from the wii too and it works fine
i did also try installing mortal kombat from the pc but it had a problem with a black screen when i tried to play it, after some searching tho i found out its normal

How much time did it take to raise to 87,15%? It maybe is still working. Heard a full dump probably needs up to 2 hours.

No. brawl should only take 30 minutes or so through usb loader.

Is your disc scratched/dirty?

Sometimes the dumping gets really slow and needs 10 minutes for 1%.

well i tried a few more times and it worked, seems like i was lucky with tatsunoko vs capcom because all the other games i try to install this way are having the same problem as brawl
