ROM Hack Problem importing GBC save to VC

I've been trying for the last few days to import my Pokemon Yellow save from VBA to VC. I've read every posts here and some from other sites and can't see what I am doing wrong...

I launch VBA and load my save.
Then File > Export > Battery file, and name it "sav.dat"
The file is exactly 32,768 bytes.
I copy it to JKSV/Saves/Pokemon Yellow.
I launch JKSM, go to Titles > Pokemon Yellow > Save Data, highlight the previously copied "sav.dat", press Y to restore, then A to confirm.

Then when I start Pokemon Yellow, I get : "The save data is corrupted and will be reset. (B) No | (A) Yes".

So I don't know what I am missing...

Take the save from VBA, use it on mGBA, resave Pokemon Yellow, and then do the below.

Sorry I forgot to update yesterday, but I actually managed to import my save, by doing the same as explained in my OP, but with Checkpoint instead of JKSM... Every tutorials I've read mentioned JKSM, so I installed it even though I had Checkpoint installed and this is what I've been using until now to backup my saves, so I never though about using Checkpoint until I posted this thread. And it worked...
