Secondly Priiloader (rev77) was released March 13, 2010 and then again with a tiny insignificant update (0.4 Beta) on March 17, 2010... not 3 weeks ago.

so the newer version is 0.4 beta and not rev77, correct? also, which one should be used, Installer.dol or priiloader.dol, what is the difference?

Really not sure which file to use. Haven't tried 0.4 beta yet. But for testing & error reporting purposes use 0.4 beta, to help daco work out all the bugs (if there are any). Report them here or here

If anyone else has some input, please share your thoughts.

EDIT: its down deu to server issues and a bug in the release deu to Daco updating to libogc 1.8.3

Have read all that again today, but it was same a week or more back.

No real description on the use of the password facility, and what it does (or does not do).

Will tell you shortly. Using 0.4 Beta right now, about to overwrite with 0.4 FINAL

Edit: Just updated to 0.4 Final - Didnt brick the Wii - thats always a good start.

Seems to work just the same as the Rev 77 I had.

working great for me.
also, before i updated the hack 'region free wii games' wasnt working for me in cioscorp and now it does.
i had tried it last week and it didnt work, and then after i updated i put the code in my hacks.ini again and it worked...
i got the hack from wiibrew both times, so unless someone changed it, it was the same code.
i dont know if i did something wrong before, or i copyed and pasted wrong, but whatever the reason im glad it works now.

also, im loving all the new lock features.
