installer.dol is the installer durrrrrrrr

rev43 + usb inserted = O LAWL

im figuring/thinking of fixes but ill need to edit libfat/libogc for that >_>

That will be installer.dol the other is just priloader.BTW tried r42 and it works. I do not care about USB so if anyone wants r42 I can post it as well. Rev42 fixes some bug with the wii ramdomly shuting back down when you turn it on after a code dump.

Im on preloader 0.29 and ive got HBC JODI, is this really worth updating to? that is to say, is it worth it to risk? i do not have bootmii in boot2.

i actually have on but havnt tested it with R8 yet, are you wanting one that searches /neogamma_r8 for R8 and one that searches /neogamma_r7 for the R7 release, so i affect 2 forwarders for each rev with eather the same banner or one to match each revision

A - hopefully quick - query on Priiloader and installing forwarder Dols....

Running:

SystemMenu 4.1, boot2 as IOS, Priiloader 0.3 (rev32). I use HBC and Config-USB loader (v50-Fat). I have a Forwarder channel for CFG-USB that works perfectly. App is run from SD, and access a FAT32 HDD. App dir is SD:app/usbloader/boot.dol.

Priiloader works fine, autoboots SysMenu no problem, hacks work fine, comes up when you hold reset.

Only thing I can't do is get any USB forwarders to work. I have tried 7-8 so far. Most end in black screen, 1 with a stack dump (sorry no pic, can chase again if needed). Same result is autobooted or run directly from PriiLoader.

I have tried Pepxls from here: http://www.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=194899 as well as the often suggested NForwarderUSBLoaderCFG.zip

Googling and searching forums suggest several people drop back Priiloader versions to work around similar problems, but some seem to have no issue. There is a suggestion that forwarders needed changing from Preloader to Priiloader (?). Anyway, clarification or suggestions welcome.

Hi ppl,

Preloader/priiloader noob here. However, in a portuguese forum where i "try" to help...some people are reporting what seems to be "semi-bricks" after following the priiloader0.3 instalation.

Can access HBC (default on boot), but not System Menu (stucks, black screen)...

Can anyone enlight me if there's a fix i can pass to them?

PS: read the last 5 pages of the thread...should i read more?

Ps2: Guess i got it sorted. Reinstall SysMenu WAD right?...

correct. Priiloader.dol will just run prilloder without installing it. It is just a testing brick protection for people that do not have bootmii on boot2.

That will be a solution. IOS and then SM wad (e.n. IOS60-v6174 and SM449 wads for 4.1U). What version of priiloader where they using?

not sure if im the only one, but installed files dont boot properly.
if you set autoboot to installed file and then reboot, itll go back to the priiloader menu.
then if you turn off the wii and turn it back on, itll boot into the installed file.

can someone tell me why this wii keeps booting up to priiloader instead of SM ? i need this fixed , boxed and wrapped for santa and i dont want it to boot upto priiloader

now i have set

autoboot : system menu
return to : system menu

this is doing my head in !

also when i press home in wiiflow for instance , if i press reset it also goes to priiloader , i dont want it doing that , it says reset so i want it to reset , also ive set autoboot to system menu so i want the system menu to load !

just a question. if i have a virgin wii and i put on hbc + bootmii and than i want to install priiloader do i need to have any custom ios's or anything or can i just install it fresh?
