And now lets get to facts of 2011...ur country is so much bankrupt that even politicians in your country even give up and leave the coalition.

You think $250 is too much look at the Japanese auctions and most Asian online stores they are selling them for $400 to nearly $600, heck I reserved one and changed it to a preorder and I'm paying nearly $500. Oh and Play Asia is actually offering some without a reservation for $603 US, it's ridiculous.

Nintendo did say pricing was partly our fault.

$250 is a bit steep for my budget, it really depends on where you are in life and how much fun money you have lying around,I'm currently part time job part time college.
i can eat ramen for a whole month as long as i can get Resident Evil and SSF4 at launch, though i'll probably try to just pawn some stuff off to cover the games cost, and save $50 from each bi weekly pay check from now till launch to cover the system it's self.
as long as no Emergency's come up till launch day i'll have the cash, hopefully in the end it'll be worth it (especially if it's hacked.)

True, but did our fault in the matter really justify such a divine punishment to our wallets, I knew it wasn't going to be cheap but there's a line between making an item justifiably expensive (I don't mind shelling $350-$400 on something this good) and price gouging (which is going on). I bet many parents have fainted seeing those inflated price tags.

From Dollars US to GB Pounds what you guys pay is a lot cheaper than us here in rip off Britain.

We will be paying avg £225.

In US dollars that's $360.

Pure and utter rip off.

Converted from US price in dollars to GBP we would only be paying £160.

Ninty are shafting us big time.

I defo won't be buying now after seeing those conversion figures.

I had the money sitting here this evening for the 3DS and decided feck it, I just bought a sandy-brisge 15 2500 and P series mobo instead.

o.o What's the difference between reserve and preorder? From what I can tell reserve is pretty much useless as all it does it let your store know how many to get, while a preorder is putting money down ahead of time and having one put aside for you.

What I'm really curious about is where you live that you would need to pay double the amount to have a 3DS preordered instead of reserved.

well if your willing to shell it out, Nintendo is willing to keep it at that price for a good while, see my point?

They are crazy for this price: 249,99 € (2,5x the price of a wii??)
Better pay 50 euros more for a ps3'. Instead of buying a mini 'gameboy', with 50 euros more I have a big console
ohmy.gif

Take the price back to 150€ and that would be a lot better..

What, mini 'gameboy'? This thing is way beyond a game boy, this thing got some much stuff pack into it. Pssss mini 'gameboy' you must be talking about the gameboy micro...

Can't really talk about price, because of €, do not fell like converting.

Yes, but ps3 also a old console...

That one comment on it own just give me a small headache, 3DS a mini 'gameboy' really? really?

I read crazy comments, but that like the worst comment I every read, sense I first heard about the 3DS...

I am talking about the size for mini because the 3ds isn't that big. And yeah I don't really care what you think about it, since everyone looks different into things

From my eyes, I better spend 50 euros more to buy a ps3 that I can play from my tv with full hd quality instead of a 3ds ( you probably prefer 3ds).
It is like, why buy a small thing, if I can buy with 50 euros more a bigger thing. (of course big does not mean better, but I do think that the quality of the ps3 is in anyway better than a 3ds. Graphics, blue ray player, but you probably think that the 3ds is somehow a lot better.)
Ps3 an old console? Sorry, but it still owns the 3ds.

Anyway, like I said. Peace. Everyone thinks different about things, so lets keep it to ourselves.

So gamestop is now allowing you to trade in a DSiXL and get 100 dollars off.

Looks like this is going to be the first handheld I'm actually getting at launch.

That sounds cool! Too bad, I do not think that is possible here in amsterdam.

Lol, while you can easily get $200+ if you sell your DSi XL on eBay...

Actually, new in box DSi XLs on Ebay have been selling for ~$125 lately. Whenever dealing with Gamestop remember this: you ALWAYS lose -.-
