Hardware Preventing 3DS from updating

Hello

What possibilities are there to NOT update the 3DS ?

Which options in "Parental Control" do I need to check or other options to prevent :
- from game retail cartridge to ask for update
- from wifi connection

If I go to "Other options" in the "Settings", the 3DS does not ask me the parental code so my son can update without paying attention ?

You can turn off wifi connection That'd stop it. Also, set the parental control for everything. That's what I did B)

Yes, but parental code don't ask the code when going to "Other options" in "Settings"

Block the sites mentioned there on your router... that should work.

Parental Control does nothing to stop updates from ~4.1 onwards.
