I have an NTSC Wii, and all my games (backups and originals) all boot up into black and white.
Anyone else with this problem?

disable force region

Thanks.
I actually disabled the second option of the duplicate options, and it worked just fine.
I can't remember if its the same thing, but thanks for you help.

For me to get the update option I had to install hacks and then it would connect to the internet and check. So unistall your hacks with the hack remover, then boot in PL and install the hacks again, and then update.

wait about 30s for it to appear

Already asked in the softmii thread, but it got lost in the 'zomg da install iz all fooked !!!111one!11eleven!1!!'

What exactly do both hack do ?
Code:
[IOS Reloading]
[Disc Area Check]

Also, what exactly do these new options do ?
Code:
added a setting to stop the disc when autoboot is disabled
added a setting to return to preloader when wii titles are using the switch off state
preloader now regards the shutdownmode (OFF/Standby)

Thanks

What exactly do both hack do ?
Code:
[IOS Reloading]not sure
[Disc Area Check]checks the disk region

Also, what exactly do these new options do ?
Code:
added a setting to stop the disc when autoboot is disabled-doesnt run the disk drive if autoboot option is disabled
added a setting to return to preloader when wii titles are using the switch off state-you can return to the preloader when you press power off
preloader now regards the shutdownmode (OFF/Standby)-bug fix, old version could not use standby mode

Thanks

Hold reset when booting up.

Power off.
Power on and push and hold reset.
PL should load and now you can go into settings and install hacks.
Make sure hack.ini is in the root of the sd.

LOL@ HaniKazmi... Second time you beat me to it !

Got it working was my ISP's dns was fing up whole day so i turned off and on my modem then booted the wii right after the modem connected(rebooting modem usually fixes the dns problems for a while)and it worked!

I just had a bright idea about that standby bug in version 0.26. Personally I have standby WiiConnect turned off, mainly because I want to conserve energy. However, turning off the standby connection disallows the use of the News and Forecast channels. With 0.26 installed though, it's possible to have the standby connection enabled only nominally; now one can access the locked out channels without actually having the Wii go into standby mode: the best of both worlds. I'm going to try to get in touch with crediar and see if he'll re-add the bug as an optional feature for 0.28 ("disable standby connect").
