Does anyone knoew why I get error 001 in newer games after using the IOS reload patch?

Are you using the "IOS Reload" from page 1 or the "IOS Reload 60" from... errr... another page?
You may want to try the other one. ;D

The region free disc hack from WiiBrew is definately working, but I still can't get region free NES and SNES VC channels to work.

CIOS60BF uses the app.1 from CIOS36 rev7 which doesn't have any problems with Mario Kart but probably has problems with the newer games. Your IOS249 is probably CIOS36 rev8 (or 9). rev8 was having problems with Mario Kart and some other games and thats why the CIOSCORP package of MiiWii is not fully rev8 dipped. Some IOSes uses the rev7 version for Mario Kart and other games to work. If you have CIOS36 rev8 installed you could try rev9, maybe it fixed the problem for Mario Kart?

oh, I thought 60 was running off rev8, interesting to know.

But for reference, I had 3.2E running off both rev8 and rev9 fine, no 001 errors, but 4.0E gives me errors with both those 249 cIOSs.

I would like to run off rev8/rev9 for their advantages, but they still cause me problems.

i am using the NTSC 4.0 hacks.ini from the PreLoader Wiki and i am getting an error when i try to enter the hacks menu. it says something like, "no n before [ on line 25" then when i go to enter the Wii System Menu from PreLoader i get another error about Syntax but when i press any button the System Menu loads.

does anybody know what i am doing wrong?

Did anyone get around to making one? Or is there anu other way to backup my noon movable save files to sd card?
