Hardware Pre-Chipped Wii

I'm looking to buy a pre-chipped Wii, but where can I get one, and how much should I expect to pay?

I've seen new pre-modded d2c's for $500.

And used pre-modded d2bs for $400

Where in the US are you?

Virginia, I didn't realize it would be so expensive, a Wii is only $250, chip is only about $50, and I've heard of people doing it for $50 more, which is only $350...

all prices include shipping. you'd be lucky to find someone to do a D2C for $50 most people charged $60-$80 just for a regular wiikey install.

not really...i've burnt like 8 or 9 games so that alone would have cost me $450 if I had to pay for them. Plus I hear about people whining and complaining about their wiikey not working or their updates not updating. I've never had a single problem from delaing with this guy. Every update has worked flawlessly everything works perfect all the time. So I'd rather pay a couple extra bucks for a good job then spend a bunch of time on here posting my problems waiting for answers.

Yea, in reality it's not THAT expensive considering the return you make on the games themselves.

Especially if you never owned a GC, quite a few gems there you can nab as well.

It's kind of funny, Wii modding is one of the few things where being an early adopter is somewhat beneficial.
