I was playing FFIV on PPSSPP on my switch for 30-40 minutes today and suddenly got the message that the game was switching to slow caching because the video memory was full. Then, all the sprites on the screen disappeared both in battle and on the field.

I launched into PPSSPP by launching a game and holding R. I’m running the latest Atmosphere.

What causes this? Are there settings I should change to prevent this?

If I wanted to move my save over to Retroarch and use PPSSPP through it, how would I do that? Not sure which folder to drop the save data into.

I figured out where to put the save data, but am still curious about the caching issue. Hoping I don’t encounter the issue using PPSSPP in Retroarch. Thoughts?
