PSP emulation on Wiiu needs a core version, ideally future emulators would focus on reatroarch, as cores seem to be much better nowadays and also well organized and dynamic.

This version is also old, there is another slightly better one, compiled that came out in 2018, which had improved this one to run more games.

Do you have a link to the slightly better version? Would be appreciated

I'm still going to upload it at any time I'm going to post it on my channel called zeox gamer on YouTube.
So far I haven't uploaded it yet.
Can you please upload it soon?
I am curious to see if this build is any better than the last one that was publicated here.

it's just better in performance like "Kingdom Hearts" and the other games run a little better just without choking like before just this is a modification and an rpg game that I tested patched in English from Capcom that worked I'm still going to post it , I found it at the time on a website that was taken down in 2020.
I saw that its ini can also be changed so I was testing how it would look in some games too.

Well it does sound like it may have some improvement. I wonder if anyone is working on it still.

I look forward to you sharing the files. 😎👍

I think the psp can run on the wii u but a core version of retroarch would be better

take a good look:
The psp emulator has already been made on the WiiU before, so it already has Dynarec, a video plugin capable of working on the WiiU.
So, I believe that the PSP already has everything for someone to work on an improved version in core, based on what has already been done in the past and improve it so that it is even better with the resources it has today and the emulators that They are already much better and optimized than before.

The Wii U is capable of running a lot of things like:

N64

Saturn (I believe that a port of SSF that is not that heavy, could work as a core to make everyone look good in retroarch)

dreamcast

psp (the most likely to have a port, as it already has a base)

Hey, I am trying to run Ratchet and clank: size matters, but when i click on it, the screen freezes and doesn't load it. Does anybody know how to fix this?

I think it would be better for emulators on wii u to stay standalone. I remember retroarch used to be a pain to install and setup, and one of the reasons i ended up not touching it anymore.

The last released version is still very usable for most games.

Retroarch is better, it has the ability to work better, the controls, in addition to the emulators being better than the iDepends, and just trying to understand how retroarch works after that, you can only be happy with the games organized by emulators, very good.

eu need sd card formating in fat32 with 32k clutters or 64 for better speed on sd card to rum this emulator and others wiiu homebrews better

Metal Slug XX is playable if you tweak some settings but it will make the emulator crash because of loss of memory.
I managed to beat it only by using savestates, that way when it crashes you can resume from a savestate until it crashes again.
