PPPoE network or webos issue

Well I've been attempting the LG webos Tv exploit for the ps4 for some time now. I've fingered my issues down to some culprits.

Router - I have a PPPoE option to see but each time I, select PPPoE under both ipv4\6 it gives error or the router fails to bridge a wifi connection.

PS4 - The ps4 it's self won't give me an ip check after setting up the wizard for PPPoE. It just says Failed on ip.

I get the pppwn message on my webos tv but nothing else occurs. Hoping someone may know something about setting up a PPPoE connection to obtain ip.

I have a linksys MR9600.

It has absolutely nothing to do with your router!

ip4/ip6 has nothing to do with it either.

Stop messing around you have to root your LG etc...

Do you own a lgwebostv with aarch64 if you would have watched the video you clearly see modded Warfare doing a PPPoE connection and obtaining an ip.

Have you rooted your LG TV?
Then you also had internet on the TV, otherwise you wouldn't be able to root!

So then you also have an IP address? completely normal IP address that the TV gets itself.

I'm not getting an ip connection during PPPoE set up on the ps4.

It looks like you have successfully completed all the steps up to this point! then leave this step until the end!

and only use the PS4's internet function at the end? Maybe you have to connect a LAN cable first and then set it up?

because Modded Warfare selects a LAN connection.

The PPPOE will probably need to be set up with a LAN cable, without leaving a cable connected at the end. since a LAN cable is required for a PPPOE connection.

No, I don't have an LG TV! but I have a ps4 pro FW 11 with Raspberry PI2 and it runs great.

Then try again to establish a normal internet connection with the PS4! if that works then it must also work via PPPOE.

I have a linksys MR9600.

I was able to get a successful connection using PPPoe and everything worked fine when using my LG C2. I stated having this same issue you stated when I changed my TV to LG C3 and my PPPoe connect always fail. Have you been able to solve this as this is driving me nuts and have been able to use my ps4 since I changed TV.
