Homebrew Powersaves Question

Hello. So here is my current situation. I have a online friend who doesnt wish to risk fully hacking his old 3ds but is willing to take basic homebrew access through an entry point. He has a copy of Ocarina Of Time 3D but has no entry point to get into homebrew to install another entry point. Im under the assumption that browserhax or similar entry points no longer work. Which in order to get in leaves me with on option.

And that is to use powersaves for him to inject the latest oothax payload into his copy to be able to get in. My question is will this work just like im intending. Is this a reliable if all else fails method to on the latest fw get into homebrew?

I can't get my Powersaves activated... It keeps acting like it wants to, but never completes, and I activated my email... but it keeps suspending my account and tells me to try again in an hour. It's endless.

Yes. Using Powersaves you can inject an oot3dhax save file, allowing you to access the homebrew launcher on 11.2.0.
