I have a PowerMac G5 Quad, a iBook G3 14" 800 Mhz, a iBook G4 14" 1.42 Ghz, a IBM T20 with the blink of death and a HTC Shift x9500.

I've also got a blue slotloader iMac G3 at work that has some bad caps on the CRT circuits I assume.
It bongs but the screen refuses to go on.
I should recap that one one day.

Edit: I also have a Asus eeEPC, idk if that's retro enough or not ;p

Is the G5 Quad you have a watercooled one? If so its best to yank it out of there before it leaks. Its a well known/documented defect in those models that happen naturally over time (and can do some horrible damage inside).

Also I see that thinkpad collecting is becomming more common over the years. They can be quite solid systems. I usually do not go out of my way to collect Laptops given the difficulty in repair/parts they can have, but I am still glad I found a 701c for cheap a few years back. That thing is cool as hell.

I know all about the LCS in the PMG5's being shite.
Mine hasn't leaked and I will be rebuilding it one of these days.
