I have wondered this about ghosts
Without mass they should almost immediately leave the planet
It's like how they can walk through walls but (usually) don't fall through floors or the ground. I figured what holds them anchored to the Earth was the same principle that held them bound to certain places/houses/areas. Probably something psychosomatic.
