I can learn from the mistakes of others, and many of those do get lured in only to find out the hard way/have me be all "I told you so".
I mean we try to tell the kids not to look at, talk to, touch or otherwise interact with non food ginger, and up until around 17 that works well but after that, much like smoking, it is down to your peer group instead.

I have told the story before but I once did something similar in a chemistry lab.
Distillation time, as it usually is at that point in schooling, and the text book says throw away the results as it is very flammable. Did not say what it was and the teacher did not know either.
Observe, test, repeat is the mantra of the scientist (though I usually note this as closer to the trust but verify phrase of the security world, or maybe I was independently replicating research) so I take a test tube of the stuff over to the sink and drop a match in.
Turns out it was indeed very flammable as a nice bit of flame shoots out the test tube way more than most other alcohols and such we normally burned in them.
I drop the test tube into the sink.
It being a mini molotov really and at that point the sink is now on fire.
Turn on the water to quite the pace and it (eventually) dies down. Put the broken test tube (mostly a hole on the bottom) on the rack like I was just washing up normally (was common enough for them to break so nobody would come looking later).
Teacher ends the lesson saying how safe we were. I get a knowing look from a few of the classmates that bore witness to my conflagration.

If we are doing videos I believe I will go with
