I'd like to know if you could run a back up with a USB Flash Drive. I'm assuming no because the way a system reads an SD Card and USB Flash Drives is different than the way they read discs, IIRC.
Technically it's possible to use SDHC cards, as they are fast enough. It would have to be implemented, though, and I think there are more important things (combatibility) to take care about first.
