Hardware Possible solution for Joy Con not charging

Hi everyone

Recently I was going to mod a Nintendo switch OLED, I've already modded about 20 OLED, but I had a problem where Joy Con were not charging.

I saw many threads and forums regarding left or right Joy Con stopped working after installing a modchip, but I have not problems of cut traces nor bad soldering, shorts or bridges. My specific problem with this unit is that Joy Con are detected correctly, even showing the animation when connected, but it does not show a charging indication and they eventually die.

As I don't have any clue of where to go from here, looking at the pinout of each Joy Con rail it seems to pull 5V at pin 4 for charging, if this is not getting power and it has no other problem, could it be possible to solder a wire to pin 4 from a capacitor inside to repair the charging?

Any suggestion is appreciated.

Update:

Found that the Max8969 is dead somehow, but currently I don't have a spare one to replace it, could be possible to temporarily bridge those 2 capacitors to feed the Joy Con rails and fan?

I know the expected outcome from this ic is around 5V, but this line provides 3.89V meanwhile, would it hurt something if I bridge it that way?
