Not too sure but I seem to be stuck.

I was booting one of my other switches into cfw (sxos) using an rcm loader jig. I’m not sure if my switch died or I pulled out the on/off jig in the controller side too quickly but I cannot get the switch to do anything. It does not recognize the jig, does not get recognized in the computer and cannot get it to boot into rcm mode.

I don’t have a backup as this was my second switch. And was just trying to start to update.

Any ideas?

What happen if you connect the powersuply to the console ?

Have you tried holding the power button for 15 sec and then start all over ?

Try letting it charge for an hours or two

Then try again to hold the power button for 15 sec, and then start over

Have you tried using other USB ports and/or cables?

I assume you use autorcm? If not, then the switch is dead and has some serious hardware fault. It should at least show a battery icon when you connect it to a power source.

If you do use AutoRCM continue reading:
If you are using the sxos jig, then I can tell you it is trash. Mine stopped working completely despite beeing charged.

When connecting the switch to pc make sure to use a proper usb-c (preferbly a USB 3.0 cable to ensure its quality) cable (<2m length) and use a direct connection. The Switch is picky with cables and cheap ones (which come with china products) tend to not work with the switch.
If it still does not connect in RCM then the battery is drained. It can take up to 2 hrs connected to the official charger so the battery has ~1% charge to successfully enter RCM. Once you load up CFW/Hekate the Switch can use more efficient charging protocols so it charges at normal rates again.
