I suggest poster to check DSTWO specification, memory bandwidth, CPU performance, etc. to estimate the project possibility. I think a good way start is study in Linux Firefox.

Well, N64 has 93.75 MHz and GC has 486MHz, and the DSTWO has 400-500MHz. Yes, I think the SCDSTWO has a CPU with the power like N64/GC.

Well, N64 has 93.75 MHz and GC has 486MHz, and the DSTWO has 400-500MHz. Yes, I think the SCDSTWO has a CPU with the power like N64/GC.

N64 has an FPU (floating Point Unit) which the DSTwo hasn't got. Without it, an N64 emulator would only ever reach 'Proof-of-Concept' stage. Far too slow to be usable.

Firefox may be possible though, but you'd need the EZ3in1's RAM capabilities. As most DSTwo users use them for DSi, it may be a pointless exercise.

And Off topic, the Laptop in that picture is the same as the one I use to browse the net at home... Weird...

True, but so far he is the only one who has extended the SDK through reverse engineering. He had to do that because normally the SDK requires you to use double buffering for the display output (ds2_flipScreen) but he found a hack to update it directly (normally you can't just use update_buf but he found a way). See his Sept 26th update for details.

The DSTwo has 32MB of RAM, the official RAM pack has 8 and the 3 in 1 has 16.
