Hacking port 1 base

does port 1 only support base 58 or is there a way to make it read games off base 57 while using rev 21? when i load the games it will either crash with stack dump or freeze while playing

Backups on an HDD can only be read in USB Port 1, the other is reserved for Rock Band instruments if I'm not mistaken. The cIOS base does not affect the USB port. The recommended cIOS to have now is rev21d2x with IOS56 base. That combination can let you run most games without issues. There is the odd exception that'll need a different one (like Black Ops requiring IOS57 base).

actually it's port0

port 1 can be used instead in cfg usb-loader by saving an alternate module on the HDD. Last I checked it only supported WBFS partitions

i have experience with port 1 and can confirm xflak comment

but its worse. you will need to extract and insert the usb connection once config loads

config will give a 30 sec timer which you need extract and insert the usb connection

i dont have that problem though config loads it right up with it plugged in the thing is that it makes games freeze because im having to use base 58 for the games to run and i have a 1.5tb and 1tb hd. plus i have to use port 1 to play games on because port 0 is broken and i cant get it fixed due to my mom.
