Just for fun lets see how many can correctly estimate the time it will take for the first flashcart manufacturer to come up with a way to circumvent the new firmware..

I have never done a poll on here before so I thought, why not.....

Ok this is just for fun, no grumbling about a new topic about it, no off topic discussions, no flaming, lets just play nice...

probably in 2 to 3 weeks, m3 team, acekard team and scds1i team and ezflash teams are all working on it already, wonder if they'll team up and work together on this situation xD

I'm guessing not, think of the sales if you are the only card that works under the new firmware, which is why I think they will be working double time to get round the upgrade.

but in the extreme i bet they would.

There is a whiff of cracking it in the air with the R4i, but still not a released firmware update or a new card..... any more takers for the poll ?

When the DSi first came out, how long did it take manufacturers to distribute compatible flashcarts? With all the resources Nintendo has on-hand, I doubt they haven't figured out a way to do it again and render all popular flashcarts useless. I think this is going to be a very long wait.

Unfortunately this is currently unfix-able from a commercialization stand point. It can be fixed easily enough but the fix requires compromises that flashcart manufacturers are unwilling to make.

So, apparrently, it won't be too long.

Two weeks will soon be up and no fix for the end users...... yet

The cart fanboys must be climbing the walls by now, desperate their cart will have the first released update....

i highly doubt it will be that long

It took them over a month to crack the DSi the first time, who know how long this time as their options may be reduced ? There isnt a release to public patch yet as far as I know, so who knows ???
