Pokemon Save File won't load

On my homebrewed 2ds with TWMenu++ installed I wanted to put a save onto my .nds pokemon game, so I added the game and the save, but I added the wrong save. I deleted the .binand the .sav and added the correct .sav file but it still showed the old save. I then deleted all references to the game (Pokemon White) on the SD card and readded the rom and correct .sav, BUT IT STILL SHOWS THE OLD SAVE! help plz thank you!

My guess is that it's loading a save state overwriting the new save.

Are you looking in the "saves" folder? TWiLight Menu++ expects save files to be in a "saves" folder, with that in the same folder as the ROM. If you initially put it in the saves folder but have since been putting it alongside the ROM that could mess it up.

If you changed the "Save number" in per-game settings that would also make it look under a different name. The file is definitely there, TWiLight doesn't look anywhere else for the save file...

Also make sure the save is named exactly as the .nds file (the Pokémon game).
