- Takes place in Arumia
- Main character - Hajime (male), but you can select either a male or female character
- Darkrai, Lucario, Heatran, and Cresselia make appearances
- 17 possible support Pokemon: Munchlax, Kricketot, Mime Jr., Cranidos, Croagunk, Machop, Shieldon, Chimchar, Piplup, Turtwig, Pachirisu, Starly, Snover, Misdreavus, Hippopotas, Sneasel, Gible
- side quests in which you help towns
- collect cards to give boost to your capture styler
- Surf on Pokemon during certain portions of the game
- WFC included, but details are unknown

Most of that means nothing to me, can't really say I paid that much attention to what I was doing in Pokemon games.

Hmm. I figured they might let you choose your own partner Pokemon. If Pachirisu is the same power as Plusle, I'm taking Pachirisu. Though I might take Greguru (Croagunk) since he is my favourite D/P Pokemon. He's hilarious in the show. (or at least what I saw of the Japanese version)

heh heh. Indeed I am very excited. I'm gonna be counting down the days. Although it will take a little longer for a rom to be made. If the overseas release date is too far away from the Japan release date, I'm downloading the Japanese rom.

Isn't that just Darkrai? I'm not too concerned about new pokemon, since all of the recent ones look like blobs of poo. I don't really care for another RPG either since each one has been worse than the last. (well, Pearl's better than Ruby I suppose) Red was alway the best in my book.

Well Red was the first one so it's normal that it have a special place in your heart, and there's a good chance that it made your childhood

. Personaly Gold is my favorite Pokégame since it had the same innocent charm of my childhood while having better gameplay systems.

Oh yeah for me Gold/Silver was the best. It was the one I remember looking forward to the most. The ones after, though they were pretty good kinda felt like retreads.

Only 2 months 2 more days until Ranger 2!

I'm playing Diamond in the meantime. I'm only using Prinplup and Pachirisu throughout the game (until Prinplup evolves) Pachirisu's bide rescued me several times, (specifically the Grass gym's Rosarade) and now that she knows Super fang, that will really help in battles neither pokemon are good against. Only big problem with Pachirisu is that she can't use discharge in double battles since it hits all pokemon including your partner, and my partner is a water type. I need to use spark instead.
