Hacking Pokemon Pearl save backup problem

I recently updated the Ewin2 firmware/software on my card and it erased my pokemon pearl save. I had a backup (256k) but when I try to move it on to the card again, it doesn't work and Pearl restarts again... The professor doing the introduction, etc.

If anyone knows how to get the 91 hour game file to load, any help would appreciated.

I already searched the forum but I couldn't find anything similar.

ah man the only thing i can think of is use the online savefile converter. it's in this forum, see if it has any kind of option that might fit your situation.

90 hours is a damn lot, if i could help you any more, i would, but i really don't know for sure.

also, search google for discussions about pokemon .sav files, someone might have some info or you might be able to post it somewhere and someone can make it suitable.
