Not sure you can set the galar-born flag. All the rest, including location and origin game, should be possible as it has not changed afaik, but I don't know how the generation-symbol (ie the clover for Alola, pentagon for Kalos and Remake-Hoenn, etc) is set. If it is just a value in a structure that has not changed in G8 data-structure, it should work. Otherwise it may not.

There's also to take into account the transformations that tre transfer Bank -> Home does, that probably sets the "transferred/time-travelled" flag, and such, that may make it impossible to make them 100% legal

It's definitely possible, just requires the right tools. You could easily make the modification to PKHeX for example.

For the galar-born flag, if it is only a value that is not in one of the new structures, I agree it should be possible.

There are new things we cannot have control on when generated by the transfer from Bank to Home though, so there's definitely things that are likely to be impossible to set correctly for the Pokémon to be considered 'legal' (including potentially the actual localisation that may well have some 'transfered from bank' flag set in the process, and that it definitely wouldn't have when caught in actual gameplay in SwSh)

It's actually present, just not selectable in the standard interface. It's determined by the value of the game obtained which is present in both data structures.

Example: Game obtained value is between 1E-21 for generation 7 and 2C-2D for Sword and Shield.

If you do plan on doing this though I would advise caution because we still don't know what, if any, action will be taken against users misusing the service.

Further to this, there are two values present in the generation 8 data structure that cannot be carried over, that is height and weight. Every pokemon caught and in Sword and Shield is given a dummy height and weight value but pokemon transferred to pokemon home always have this set to 0, which isn't possible for Sword and Shield native pokemon. So even if you get everything set up so your pokemon transfer over to bank with the correct obtained location it's never going to be possible to transfer over legal looking data.

I would not be surprised some of those are set differently between bank transfer and normal gameplay catch.

I assure you I am intimately familiar with this subject and the source code of PKHeX. There's really not any other significant differences in this situation. The only point of contention other than height and weight would be the legitimacy of memories, which currently isn't documented.

What I can also tell you is that there are no such things as a "transferred/time-travelled" flag, or a "galar born" flag all of this is determined by the game obtained value.

Haha wow this is fantastic.
It's an amazing proof of concept but it's probably better to just hack in random and valuable Pokémon to just trade on the Home GTS for Galar Pokémon. A bit safer that way.

Pokemon Bank allows hacked pokemon from Gen 7 to cross into Pokemon HOME, and thus onto Pokemon Sword and Shield. Here's something interesting though: you can hack Galarian Pokemon into Gen 7, then transfer them to Gen 8 via Gen 7. This is significant for those who do not have modded Nintendo Switches, as it can be relatively hard to find an exploitable Switch, but all 3DSs/2DSs are vulnerable to exploitation. This essentially functions as a way to PKHex Gen 8 Pokemon with a modded 3DS/2DS. This will likely be patched eventually, and could potentially be a large ban risk to attempt. I haven't been banned, but I've only been playing around with this for a week. Enjoy!
