ROM Hack Pokemon Diamond doesn't boot?

I was trying to use the IV check code but my pokemon diamond game doesn't boot. I'm using EDGE flashcart, by the way. Has anyone encountered this beffore? Sorry but I just had a DS a couple of days ago and I was wondering if someone can help me here.
