Pokemon Cristal RTC patch

Hello everyone, I'm trying to adapt a patch for the time change in Pokémon Gold, Silver, Crystal, Fire Red, Leaf Green, and Emerald. I found the .ips patch, but it's for a USA ROM while I have the game in Italian… Can anyone help me insert it?

Porting a ROM patch generally involves looking at the code in the original ROM that is being patched, then finding the same code in the ROM you want patched, and applying the same changes. This would generally be done with disassembled code. If that sounds like stuff you can figure out, then have fun looking into it, and post again if you have questions about the details. If not, hope someone feels like doing it for you, or offer payment as an incentive maybe?

Having said that, pokemon games are some of the most widely supported and modified games in existence, maybe the patches you want are already out there somewhere.

I can try if I am shown the way, I like to experiment and broaden my knowledge, if I can't do it because of my limitations obviously I have to turn to others, I could offer a reward but I don't know what a fair price would be

Honestly, try AI? Give it the original USA rom and the USA patch, and ask if to adapt it for the Italian rom.
