I'm having a... interesting... dilemma with Pokesav on my Pokemon Black version. It's English, fixed, and works perfectly well to my knowledge.
I read through a guide and realized I couldn't make a full Bug-type team early on in the game, so opted to make myself some Unova bugs with Pokesav. This issue here is, when I open my .sav file with Pokesav.. it's completely wrong. The file opens with no real problem.. but the values are all screwey.
For example, the gender is female while my actual trainer is a male. I think, for some reason, it's reading things as their ''maximum value'' somehow. For instance, my trainer ID is 65535, as is my Secret ID. PokeCash is 4,294,967,295. I have 255 steps of Repel left, I have no pokemon in my party, and my time played is 65535 hours, 255 minutes, and 255 seconds. I -just- beat the first gym in-game.
Now, I tried googling to see if anyone had a similar problem, but found nothing. Perhaps I worded my search badly. Anyways, I've used Pokesav on Platinum and HeartGold and had no real problems with it (Admittedly I am a newbie at using it... it took me a while to figure out that my .SAV files weren't the correct size... and was beguiled when Pokesav refused to open them).
So does anyone know what the issue might be? Do you need more detailed information for a proper analysis, and if so what information should I supply you with?
