The animations at SPORE game were not working so i went to EA's site and advisor told me to update to latest graphic driver and gave me a link to NVIDIA's site to update...When update start everything was looking normal and few minutes later my screen gone black but PC was working still(HP Touchsmart 600(bought in 2009 and my first graphic update))After screen gone black i tought its updating still. When i come back few hours later it was same so i restarted the computer. The whirling Windows opening showed up like always and after it..back screen!I Heard the Windows sound that appears when opening the computer but the screen is back and nothing shows up!

    Can Anyone help me?

try booting into safe mode, you either need to configre an option in the graphic card properties or roll back to your old one

The last time this happened to a laptop I worked on, I found out its because the drivers could not recognise the laptop display. I had to plug in an external monitor to get it working again using older drivers.

    and you updated a driver....yikes....

1.Go to Start, open Control Panel
2.In Control Panel, on the top right change view by to large Icons, look at the list and click deice manager
3.In Device Manager look for Sound, Video and Games Controller Tab
4.Find your graphics card (name, model etc) and double click on it
5.Click on the driver tab, and then click on "Roll Back Driver"
    6.Don't do it again

It's not in Sound, Video, and Game Controllers. It'll be under Display Adapters.

    Edit - ninjad. :ninja:

Edit 2 - Alternative to telling OP to just roll back drivers would be to tell him to make sure that resolution and refresh rate are still correct and that it's still using his display as the primary display adapter.

Edit 3 - meaning right click the desktop in safe mode, Nvidia Control Panel...

-Change resolution - "Select the display you would like to change" should be set to your primary/only monitor. Click it again anyway. Click your resolution that your display uses, and the refresh rate. Set color depth to highest (32 bit). Click Apply and Close, then reboot. All while on the newest drivers.

Edit 4 - Or, for the sake of keeping the newest drivers, run your installer again in safe mode, and make sure you check off to do a "Clean Install". If he's having problems with something, and problems with something else, makes more sense to me to have him try to get the newer driver to work instead of the broken one working again.

    http://www.geforce.com/drivers

Click Auto Detect your GPU and wait.
    The screen may freeze.
After it scans ur PC, the latest update is gonna be shown.
Download it and update and if the same black screen thing occurs just safe mode ur PC and roll back ur driver again.

Just download the latest Geforce drivers for your video card series, and just select "Perform Clean Install" when you run the installer. Shouldn't have any problems that way.
