Hacking Please help bagplug installation

I have given up on imenu, in favor of bagplug because someone recommended it. the problem is that although the instructions are straightforward I cannot get it working. I have tried everything. I need someone to explain step by step as if my card is straight out of the box. Please dont give me the link to the bagplug installation post, because that is what I have been reading. I am doing something simple wrong. I have a 16g mcsd....pretend that I am half retarded, lol. thanks sooo much
